"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" --Isaiah 6:8

About Shechinah Creations

Shechinah Creations © came about as a result of looking for something unusual and home made to use as stocking stuffers about five years ago. I came across a recipe for a healing hand cream, mixed it up and put it in the stockings. However, it was really stiff and hard to use, so I played with the recipe over the years, substituting ingredients, adding others etc… until I came up with the recipe I use today. Friends and family that used the product all said it worked on their dry, chapped, cracking hands and heels like nothing else they ever used. As a result they have encouraged me to begin to market it. Thus Shechinah Creations is born and I have added a few other products as well as crafts to the line.

Because of my deep conviction and belief in God and that "He knows how to give good gifts to those who ask Him" (Matt 7:11), my desire is that He receives full credit and glory for this business. Shechinah is a Chaldee word meaning resting-place, not found in Scripture, but used by the later Jews to designate the visible symbol of God’s presence in the tabernacle, and afterwards in Solomon’s temple. When the Lord led Israel out of Egypt, he went before them "in a pillar of a cloud." This was the symbol of his presence with his people. For references made to it during the wilderness wanderings, see:

It is probable that after the entrance into Canaan this glory-cloud settled in the tabernacle upon the ark of the covenant in the most holy place. We have, however, no special reference to it till the consecration of the temple by Solomon, when it filled the whole house with its glory, so that the priests could not stand to minister:

Probably it remained in the first temple in the holy of holies as the symbol of Jehovah’s presence so long as that temple stood. It afterwards disappeared.

Acknowledgements:

I want to thank my husband Dean, my sons and their wives, Bret & Erica Sanders, Josh & Brynn Sanders, Tony & Amy Lounsbery and my daughter Jody Lounsbery (who are often asked to test my products) and my many friends who, without their belief in me and their support and encouragement, would never have taken this enormous step.

A huge debt of gratitude goes out to my son, Bret and to his wife Erica for sparing him for the many, many hours he spent creating the Web-Site, which made it possible to launch this web-based business.

And of course and especially I am grateful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whose abundant mercy and grace sustains me and provides my every need. Thank you Lord Jesus, I present to you Shechinah Creations.
